Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between an audit, a review and a compilation?

An audit provides reasonable assurance and includes testing, confirmations and evaluation of internal controls. A review provides limited assurance through analytical procedures and inquiry. A compilation provides no assurance but presents your financial statements in a professional format.

How long does an audit take?

It depends on size and readiness. Most first-year audits for small and mid-sized entities are completed within six to ten weeks of receiving the PBC items.

Are you independent?

Independence is required by the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. We evaluate it before accepting every attest engagement and won't perform services that would impair it.
